Finding the perfect spring/summer shoe that's comfy and versatile can be a tough one. However, Marks and Spencer might just have the solution with their Suede Fisherman Sandals, which are earning rave reviews from customers.
These sand-coloured shoes feature a comfortable low heel, making them a great match for casual daywear, beach attire or evening wear.
Priced at £49.50, these suede sandals are available in sizes three to eight, although some sizes are currently sold out due to high demand. The shoes are designed with a wide fit and come with a secure buckle fastening on the ankle strap.
Their unique fisherman style makes them an ideal choice for those who prefer a bit more coverage on their toes and upper foot.
FatFace offers a similar style with their Elodie Black Fisherman Sandals, retailing at £65.50. Made from durable leather, they're available in sizes three to eight and feature a platform sole, thick decorative straps and a buckle closure, reports the Express.
For a 90s-inspired look, Dr Martens has the Dunnet Flower Buttersoft Leather Sandals priced at £150. Available in sizes three to 13, these suede shoes boast a foam footbed for added comfort and adjustable buckle straps.
Part of the M&S Collection, the Suede Fisherman Sandals are among the easy-to-wear wardrobe staples that blend classic and contemporary styles. They've received several reviews so far, earning an overall score of 4.3 out of five.
An impressed customer shared: "These are the most comfortable sandals/shoes I think I have ever owned. They are true to size and just perfect. Well made and the neutral colour goes with almost everything."
Another added: "Beautiful sandals. Love these. Super comfy with nice padding in the soles. The straps are suede so they are really soft and flexible. I'm usually a 5.5 but as they're a wide fit, a size five fits nicely."
On the flip side, one M&S shopper said: "Big toes catch in the gap of the pattern. So weird. Also the insole is made from a cheap material that makes the bottom of the foot sweaty. Not ideal for summer. I recall reading the same complaints for last year's version. I was really hoping this year's sandal would be good."
However, another shopper added: "I have wide feet and some ankle swelling. These are both flattering and comfortable."
And a further customer said: "Love these sandals, exactly what I wanted. Lovely fit and colour."
